Travel Checklist for Visiting a Foreign Country

A good travel plan includes:

• a pre-trip health counseling session and immunizations
• holding or forwarding your mail for extended travels
• packing your passport and several color photocopies in different bags
• filling prescription medications, packing them in original bottles with labels
  

Below are other items that might be useful to pack in your luggage:

1. Immunization Booklet (yellow)/Passport &/or Visa
2. Insect Repellant (25% DEET)
3. Medical Insurance for trip (some documentation)
4. First Aid kit/Medical ID Bracelet - Allergy, etc.
5. Visine or Liquid Tears (eye drops)
6. Cortaid cream for insect bites
7. Sunscreen
8. Medicine in prescription bottles with labels
9. Travel medicines (remember to pack them)
10. Immodium for diarrhea
11. Antibiotic for diarrhea
12. Malaria medicine
